Swami Vivekanand Vidyalaya - Middle & Secondary School
The 1st Activity of RSGS started in 1995. There was no Middle/Secondary school for 6 villages as a result children had to cross the river to attend a school on the other side of the bank. This also resulted in large dropouts among girls.
In 1995 we started 5th grade with 34 students in a small room at Asde village. From 1996-2009 added 6th to 10th grades. Constructed rooms one by one. Obtained Government recognition & later full Government grant. In 2016 demolished old annexe and constructed multipurpose building using Corpus fund.
The School is Recognized & Funded by Education Department, Govt. of Maharashtra. The average strength is 225 students, 10 Teachers, 4 Support staff. Out of 1000 students registered till date more than 80% have passed SSC. Since 3 years the passing percentage is 100% with 4-5 students scoring more than 90% marks.
Students are motivated with Study tours, Events celebrations, Science day, Yoga day. Visits & Guidance by renowned personalities & support by various Groups / Institutions. Participation in District & Tehsil level competitions winning laurels. Enrollment & Guidance for Scholarship exams
Our Students have graduated in Engineering, Nursing, Science & Industrial fields. Some have Pursued Graduate studies in USA. Many are Employed in Government & Private sector. Some are Self employed
