The common issues in a village household like Poverty, Unpleasant atmosphere & Insecure environment are not conducive for children. And with no school facility in remote areas the childhood wasted & generations continue to be pushed in the rut.
In 1996, boys hostel was started in Pirangut which was shifted to Shileshwar in 2002. Girls hostel was started in Shileshwar in 2007. Shileshwar village is at a walk-able distance from Asde and children are directly enrolled in Swami Vivekanand Vidyalaya.
The Hostels have strength of 25 (Girls) and 20 (Boys). Free Accommodation & food is provided. Routine includes Morning & Evening prayers, Sports, Studies, Housekeeping etc.Special coaching is provided on Weekends and Occasional excursions planned.
Students coming from remote areas, with extreme poverty & unfortunate background have made us proud. They have excelled in life and chosen different professions like Law, Teaching, Nursing, Social Service etc.
