Industrialization in Pirangut increased the migrant workers population rapidly. The traditional village outlook also changed. A need was felt to start a Pre- School for the children of this migrant population.
In 2011 we started this Activity at Pirangut. The Centre is equipped with indoor & outdoor play equipment and audio visual aids. Due to wide exposure and active interaction children develop self confidence at a very young age. The mother’s are also free to take up part time job while the child is at Balwadi thus increasing household income.
Average strength each year is 35. More than 150 children have attended Balwadi and have not only secured admissions in good schools but are excelling due to a good foundation in formative years.
