Mulshi Tehsil (Administrative Block)
Mulshi is one amongst 13 Teshsils of Pune District located about 50 km in West of Pune. It is the hot spot of eco-tourism. Despite recent Industrialization, Building construction and IT hub in Mulshi Tehsil there is a large agricultural belt irrigated by waters of Mulshi dam. The tehsil has an area of 1029 sq km, accomodating 147 villages with a population of 171,000 and 78% literacy rate.
