Himmat Shala (School for Failures)
Himmat means Courage !
The policy laid by State Govt. of not Failing any student till 8th grade led to failure of weak students in 9th & 10th grade. As a result these students loose interest, get frustrated and some of them become wayward / criminals.
In order to bring these students in the main stream, control their emotions & protect their future life we started this project in 2012 with 12 students. Our Volunteers campaign all the schools after SSC results & pursue the Failed students to join this School. Apart from imparting syllabus education, we expose the students to skill development through Vocational courses which enable them to take admissions in Industrial Training Institutes or join Private enterprises as Apprentice.
More than 100 students have passed SSC and pursued their journey. Overall success has been around 75%.
